Chris grew up in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara and graduated with a Bachelor of the Arts from UCSB and a Master of Architecture from SCI-ARC, Los Angeles.  As an apprentice, Chris sought training through the traditional "master builder" approach.  He has been a licensed architect in California and New Mexico since 1991 and an active member of Santa Barbara's civic and building communities.  His experience includes conventional and adobe built projects on California's South Coast and the rugged Four Corners region of New Mexico.  Chris' architectural projects have received awards for design excellence.

We specialize in unique and original handcrafted and eco-conscious projects of all design aesthetics including new and renovation projects.  Our aim is to combine beauty and contemporary design with age-old techniques and materials to ensure each project is truly exceptional.  We provide support through careful sharing of client and designer ideas, the collaborative team approach and progressive project budget analysis.  Our goal is to assure the success of each project.
